Suggestions for smooth functioning of the ROT:
Do the following
- Do ensure Power Conditioning Unit (PCU) Chassis is connected to earth properly. The Chassis of the PCU is earthed though the earthpit.
- Do make sure all cable connectors mated properly and secured tightly.
- Do ensure watering the earth pit regularly, at least once in a week.
- Do ensure replacing the blown off fuse with one of the recommended rating Replacing with a higher rating fuse can permanently damage the equipment.
- Do maintain the relevant password of the equipment at a secure place.
- Do Keep the Solar Panel free from dust & bird dropping . The Solar Panels should be cleaned by wiping it with a clean damp cloth.
- Use the remote only when TV/STB is working.
- Keep the Children away from all the equipments.
Do not do the following:
- Do not operate the system for more than the specified time (the present system is to be operated for a maximum of 2.5 Hours per day). Operating for more than 2.5 Hours per day may lead to heavy discharge of battery, especially on cloudy days, and reduces Battery life.
- Do not connect any additional tools or appliances like fan, tube light etc, to the output of power Conditioning Unit.
- Do not disconnect the Battery before disconnecting the Solar Module.
- Do not expose the indoor units to direct sunlight, moisture and dust.
- Do not block the ventilation holes of the units/wooden cabinet.
- Do not shift or move the unit / wooden cabinet in ‘’power on condition’’.
- Do not shift or move the wooden TV Cabinet with all the equipments kept inside.
- Do not insert wire, pin, screw driver etc., through the ventilation holes of the units.
- Do not use strong volatile agents such as benzene or thinner to clean the surface. Use a pieces of dry cloth to clean the dust.
- Do not inflammable material near the equipment.
- Do not alter the position/ orientation of the antenna.
- Do not remover or connect the cable to STB and/ or LNB when the STB is in “Power On” condition.
- Do not keep any metal or magnet near the TV.
- Do not lose the relevant passwords of the equipment.
- Do not keep water jug or any other things on top of the TV cabinet.
